The experience

This is not music.
It is medicine.

A sound bath is a deeply restorative experience where healing sounds and vibrations are used to guide the mind and body into relaxation. During the session, you will simply lie down comfortably while being immersed in carefully selected sounds from instruments such as crystal singing bowls and Tibetan bowls, alongside a spoken guided meditation that takes you past the thinking mind into a deep, receptive state. Your ears connect directly to your vagus nerve, the only sensory pathway that bypasses thought entirely and speaks to the nervous system. The right sound, received in the right state, tells your body it is safe, and the subconscious starts doing the rewiring on its own.

Grounding: The Arrival
Gentle arrival and grounding. We begin with breathwork and intention-setting. Shashank guides you out of the mind and into the body, preparing your nervous system to receive sound fully. The body must feel safe before it can let go.
Phase 2
7:20 – 8:00 PM
Immersion: The Sound Bath
Guided relaxation and breath awareness practices, followed by the core sound bath using crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chants, and held frequencies. Here the vagus nerve receives the sound, the body releases what it has been holding, and the subconscious becomes available to shift. You may sit or lie down — simply receive.
Phase 3
8:00 – 8:20 PM
Integration: The Stillness
Deep rest and nervous system regulation. After the sound settles, Shashank holds a gentle silence. This is where the real work happens. The body integrates. The nervous system recalibrates. You return from the inside out.
Phase 4
8:20 – 8:30 PM
Return: The Closing
Closing integration. A gentle close. Shashank brings you back slowly, with awareness. You leave this session feeling lighter than you entered — calmer, clearer, more present in your own body.

The goal is not to achieve anything. The goal is to rest.

This session is not recorded and shared later. You must be present live. Sound received in real-time, with your nervous system regulating in the moment, cannot be replicated by a recording. Showing up matters.

The science

Your ears are wired
directly to calm.

The vagus nerve is the longest nerve in your body and the master switch of your parasympathetic system: the "rest and digest" state. It runs past your inner ear on both sides of your head. Sound is the only sensory input with a direct, non-negotiable line to it. Every other stimulus has to go through the thinking brain first. Sound doesn't. This is why specific sounds, held long enough, can shift your entire physiology in minutes. This is not mysticism. This is physics, biology, and anatomy working together.

Frequently asked

What actually happens during a sound healing session?
Specific sounds (layered tones, chants, and held frequencies) travel through your ears and reach your vagus nerve directly. The vagus nerve is the main switch of your parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) system. When it is stimulated by the right sound held for long enough, it tells your body it is safe. Cortisol drops, heart rate variability improves, muscles release, and the mind quiets. One of the most ancient forms of healing, now backed by modern neuroscience.
Do I need any prior experience?
None. The only requirement is a body and a willingness to lie down. Shashank guides everything from the beginning. Sound reaches your vagus nerve regardless of your experience or knowledge. You don't have to do anything. Just receive.
What should I bring?
A quiet space, a stable internet connection, headphones or speakers (the better the audio, the fuller the experience), and a comfortable place to sit or lie down. That's it. Come 5 minutes early, settle in, and let go.
Will this be recorded?
No. This is a live-only session and is not recorded or shared later. Sound received live, with your nervous system regulating in the moment alongside others doing the same, cannot be replicated by a recording. Being present is part of the practice. Showing up matters.
Can I join from my phone?
Yes. Just make sure you have headphones or speakers and a comfortable place to sit or lie down while you join.
Is this a medical treatment?
No. This is a wellness and relaxation experience designed to support rest and wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
Is this scientifically validated?
Yes. The vagus nerve's response to sound is measurable and well-documented in modern neuroscience. Studies have shown specific sound patterns reduce cortisol, improve sleep quality, lower anxiety, and increase heart rate variability. That last one is the clearest marker of parasympathetic activation. This is not just ancient wisdom. It is measurable, repeatable science.
What language will this be in?
Hindi and English, naturally blended, the way Shashank always teaches. Anyone who understands either language will be able to follow easily.
